Race Preview – Coyote Wall 50K/25K – White Salmon, WA

Coyote Wall LogoEvery year, new races pop up all over the place while some go away. This fall, there’s a trail race happening in the Columbia River Gorge, being put on by a new race director, that is sure to get your attention … if you like hills. The 25K has 4,300 feet of gain, while the 50K has 7,300 feet of gain.

And while runners of ultras know that hills are often part of the bargain, when it comes to these races, there are many events that are much more moderate. Enter the Coyote Wall Trail Races. Situated in the beauty of the gorge, just across the river from Hood River, race organizer Sean Harrasser purposely set out to design a tough and challenging course, but with cut-off times that encourage everyone to make it to the finish.

When: 50K is on Saturday, November 2nd, starting at 8am. 25K is on Sunday, November 3rd, starting at 9am.

Cost/Register: 50K = $125. 25K = $90. Register online through UltraSignup.
