Race Preview: 2019 Vancouver Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k Fun Run /Walk

The United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc. (UOAA) is a wonderful non-profit organization that supports and advocates for people who’s had or will have ostomy surgery. All proceeds from the 2019 Ostomy 5k Fun Run/Walk will benefit the UOAA and you can choose to run the race virtually or on October 5th  in Vancouver.

The 5th Annual Vancouver Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k Fun Run/Walk (formally in Portland,) will be at Marine Park this year, which is part of the Waterfront River Renaissance Trail and will be a great location for a run! Parking will be free near the playground, and there will be kid’s activities as well as booths for suppliers and advocacy groups.

The cost is of this event is only $15, but will increase 20% after September 13th. A unisex or female v-neck t-shirt will be included with your registration fee (not guaranteed after September 13th.) You can also donate money to this wonderful cause or set up your own personal or team fundraiser. Prizes are available depending on how much money you raise.

Registration and packet pick-up will begin race morning at 9:00AM and the run and walk will start at 10:00AM.

The course details have not been announced yet, but this should be a great day for an even greater cause, so come and check it out!
