Bring out the beer and bring out the runners! Last year saw the first running of the Sisters Hop Fest 5K, which coincided with the Sisters Fresh Hop Festival. This year, for the 10th anniversary of the festival, race organizers saw the opportunity to expand upon last year’s success by adding a half marathon. The course is exciting, as it will take runners north of Sisters, along paved and dirt roads, starting and ending at Three Creeks Brewing production facility.
There is rolling terrain on a mix of rural paved county roads and dirt forest service roads. The dirt roads are mostly mellow, with a one-mile section that is semi-rocky. Road shoes work well on this course.
Post-Race: Be sure to pick up your finishers hat and pint glass as you finish and enjoy a tasty beer, or non-alcoholic beverage, courtesy of Three Creeks Brewing Co. Then head back to the Production Facility in the afternoon and enjoy the 10th-annual Sisters Fresh Hop Fest, complete with fresh hopped brews from 24 of Oregon’s finest breweries! If you plan to take advantage of the great Three Creeks beer at the finish or by attending the Fresh Hop Fest, please BRING YOUR ID!
You must be 21 years old or older to register for the Fresh Hop Fest Tasting Package; ID is required at the race and Fresh Hop Fest.
The event is capped at 125 people this first year, with no wait list, rollovers, or transfers, so don’t wait to register!
