On Saturday August 17th, come join fellow runners in the 3rd annual Wings and Wheels Half Marathon. This is presented by South Columbia County Chamber of Commerce and will feature Uberthons as the official race timer. The race starts promptly at 7:30am and will include a pancake breakfast, tasty beverage, medal and much more. This is a family friendly event, kids activities and vendors will be there during/ after the races.
The start line and finish line will be at Scappoose Airport at 34020 Skyway Drive. This year’s race will have a special rate for students (18 and under) for $40, and all other participants will cost $65. Prizes will be available for the top 3 in each bracket for both male and female categories. There is a time limit to 3.5 hours, due to volunteers and maintaining a safe course.
