Race Preview: 2019 Save the Bee 5k (Veneta)

Richardson Park on Fern Ridge Lake near Eugene is the site for the 5th annual Save The Bee 5k. This fundraising event draws attention to our honeybees and their recent struggles, and all proceeds of the race go to support Glory Bee’s “Save the Bee” campaign. The race starts and ends in the parking lot of the day use area of Richardson Park on the north end of Fern Ridge Lake. Participants will run and walk on paths within the park, hugging the shoreline for most of the course. After the race, awards will be given to the top three finishers male and female, as well as in age groups. Registration is open, and it is just $25 for adults and $15 for youth ages 17 and under; day of race registration is $5 more. Event t-shirts are available for purchase.

Packet Pickup: Friday, April 12, 5pm-7pm at Oakshire Public House, 207 Madison Street, Eugene. Day of Race: Race location from 8:30am – 9:45am
