For those who have never participated in an Oregon Brewery Running Series Event, one question, why not? The events are extremely well run, family friendly and offer some pretty amazing swag and adult beverages. The distances are around 5K, and considered a “fun” run, meaning it is not timed. The route follows a safe, marked path around the brewery. Volunteers are scattered throughout the course to direct racers the right way. The roads will not be closed, racers will be instructed to follow the rules of the road. If you are over 21 and would like an adult beverage, please remember your ID. There will be no bag check, so plan accordingly. It is best to arrive 30 minutes prior to the run start to ensure parking and getting checked in.
I have participated in several Oregon Brewery Running Series events, and there is a reason I keep signing up. These races are so much fun! Once arriving at the brewery, you will check in and create a fun race bib. After running/ walking/ strolling, you head back to the swag table and pick out some amazing seasonal swag (hence, why everyone is a winner). Pint glasses, sunglasses, beer cozy, you name it! There are other great giveaways from vendors, and the best part a free craft beer.
