Do you choose which races to enter based in part or in whole on the post-race food spread? If so, the Chocolatathon will probably rate very high … unless you don’t like chocolate. (But that’s basically the null set, isn’t it?) Hot chocolate, chocolate cheesecake, and more — one year there was even a chocolate fountain!
If that sounds good to you, then mark your calendar for February 16. The race venue will be Cook Park in Tigard, a familiar location for Uberthons veterans. I am always happy to run races in Cook Park, because there’s plenty of parking and real restrooms, the paths are comfortable 2-3 wide and well-maintained, and the course is interesting and scenic. As with all Uberthons events, there will be overall, Master’s, and Senior’s medals, and age group winner pins (1-2-3).
Race options include 5K (single loop) and 10K (double loop). Run the 10K and enjoy more post-race chocolate!
When: February 16, 2019, at 8:45 a.m.
Where: Cook Park, 17005 SW 92nd Avenue, Tigard
