Turkey Trot Preview: 2018 Turkey Stuffer (Springfield)

Eugene/Springfield area runners and walkers, you are in for a treat! An excellent Thanksgiving race, the Turkey Stuffer, is a benefit for the Willamalane Free Summer Playground Program for kids. By registering, not only do you get to support an outstanding cause, but you get to participate in an outstanding event that will let you pre-burn some calories. And – after you complete the 5k event, you get complimentary admissions into Splash!, which is the northwest’s premier indoor waterpark, located at the finish line.

The 5k race begins on Thanksgiving morning at 8:30 a.m. Your start and finish line is located just outside of the Splash! indoor waterpark, by the Jack B. Lively Memorial Park. The entire route is in quiet, lovely neighborhoods, so no busy streets to contend with.
