Race Preview: 2018 Running Dirty Obstacle Race (Sandy)

The city of Sandy, Liepold Farms, and Mt Hood Athletic Club have teamed up to bring the Running Dirty Obstacle Race to life. This event, held at Liepold Farms, promises to be packed full of fun and challenging obstacles. The course will be 3-5 miles of running, jumping, climbing, and crawling your way to the finish line.

Start times will be in waves, starting every 15 minutes with a maximum of 30 people per wave. The first wave at 9:00 A.M. will be for competitive men and the second wave at 9:15 A.M. will be for competitive women. You must sign up for the competitive wave if you are looking to get on the podium. If you just want to challenge yourself or have fun with friends, sign up for a later wave start time.

There will be a Junior Division for kids ages 9-15. It will be held on the main course, with the option to skip an obstacle and take a penalty if they feel they cannot complete an obstacle. For the younger kids, there will be a free children’s obstacle race that will have start times at 9, 10, and 11 A.M.

Part of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Committee for the Senior All Night Party.
