Do you like running? (I would expect so, since you are at a site called Run Oregon….)
Do you like chocolate? (Don’t most people…?)
Hey, they’re both good for you. Science says so. What could be better than combining them into one event? Do that, and you get the Chocolatathon – a 5K and 10K race with a post-race chocolate bar!
Race day is Saturday, February 10, at Cook Park in Tigard. This is the third year of the Chocolatathon; my recap of last year’s event can be found here. It’s a great event, with easy parking, scenic course, and great refreshments, plus the usual excellent Uberthons timing and course support. As usual, all finishers get a race medal, and there are winners’ medals for the top 3 overall (male and female), top 3 age 45+ (male and female), and top age 65+, plus age group winner pins for the top 3.
