Small Race Preview: 2018 Valentine’s Day Fun Run/Walk (The Dalles)

Celebrate Valentine’s Day and support the Colonel Wright Elementary School’s athletic department by participating in the Valentine’s Day Fun Run in The Dalles. This annual event includes a 3K, 5K, and 10K on the Riverfront Trail starting at the Lewis and Clark Festival Park. All 3 distances are out and back courses. The flat paved trail runs alongside the beautiful Columbia River.

Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male and female runners in each race, along with age group winners. This fundraiser event is super affordable at just $10, if you pre-register. K-5 students from School District 21 are free. Registration is mail-in (or email-in), so be sure to register early to get your form turned in by Feb. 5.  Tech shirts are available for $25.

Annette Vaughan is a runner, personal trainer, and race director in Canby, Oregon.
