Looking to do some fun 5k races in Eugene in 2018? How about one (or 12!) that will include tacos at the end? Come out to the Taco Tuesday Twilight Trot 5k, which is a series of evening races hosted by Eclectic Edge Racing that begins on January 9 and continues one Tuesday a month throughout the year.
The 5k races start and finish at the Eclectic Edge Racing offices in West Eugene and there will be an indoor space available to you both before and after the race to stay warm and dry. This is an awesome perk for those days in Oregon where the weather is just not your friend. The course, which can be viewed via a GPS course map here, is described as “flat and fast on the Fern Ridge bike paths.” Each race will be timed and fully supported, with marshals and one water station about halfway through the route.
After you finish your evening run, you can enjoy a post-race taco bar with both meat and vegetarian options for all participants. You will also get 2 drink tickets, because, let’s face it, you gotta have drinks with tacos. There will also be random prizes and lots of fun.
Registration for these races will open the day after the previous Taco Tuesday Twilight Trot run, and dates are subject to change. However, once the online registration period opens, that month’s date is set! Printed entry forms can only be submitted one month prior to the next scheduled race. Currently only a printable entry form is available for the first event, but online registration will open soon!

Registration Cost: $25 per race until race day, $30 on race day at the door.
