Race Preview: 2018 Frostbite 5k & 10k (Talent)

Start 2018 right and go for a run! Southern Oregon Runners is bringing you The Frostbite Run 5k & 10k on January 6th in Talent, OR and it could be just the race to start your year.

If you don’t like standing around in the cold in January, this race has indoor bathrooms at the school, and the registration, awards ceremony, and prizes will all be located indoors.

Both race distances start and finish at the Talent Middle School. There’s a new route for the 5k this year, which is an out and back on Foss Road. The 10k will take the same route but will head left on Adams road until you encounter Colver Road. From there, you’ll turn left and pass Pioneer Road. The turn around will be right before Samuel Lane. No roller skates, bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, dogs, headphones, or unregistered participants please!!

In addition to ribbons for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place runners, there will be a random prize give-away. There will be refreshments available before and after the run.

Sign up now! There are custom designed medals to the first 250 registrants that were created by 12 year old Autumn Barnes.
