Are you going to be in Newport for Thanksgiving this year? If so, come out with the whole family to enjoy the 6th Annual Arctic Circle Turkey Trot 5k/10k/Kids Fun Run hosted by Ardor Adventures on Thanksgiving morning, November 23rd. This is the biggest race of the year in Newport and it supports two local schools .. Sam Case Elementary and Yaquina View Elementary.
The race course is beautiful as well as flat! The paved route will take you along the jetty and bay, as well as on a nature trail. There will be scenic views of Yaquina Bay, Hatfield Marine Science Center, NOOA, and of course the Pacific Ocean.
Be sure to dress up in costume for this race, as prizes will be given to the best costumes. There will also be awards for the top finishers and ribbons to the top 3 in each age division.

Registration Cost: Before 11/5, 5k/10k is $25, Kids Fun Run is $5. From 11/6-11/22, 5k/10k is $30, Kids Fun Run is $8. Race Day cost is $35 for 5k/10k and $10 for Kids Fun Run. Technical running shirts are an additional $25, cotton shirts are $10. T-Shirts increase $5 in price on race day and are not guaranteed to be available.
Packet Pick-Up: Early packet pickup on Wed 11/22 from 5:30AM-7:00PM at Arctic Circle (340 N Coast Hwy, Newport, OR.) Race day packet pickup and registration starts at 7:30AM. Online registration closes Nov 22 at 6:00PM.
