Hop Hop Half – 10k – 5k: Registration opens Sunday at 8a, bonus for first 100 registrants

You may have already gotten an email about this from Foot Traffic, but if you’re like me and ignore emails until the weekend (I didn’t say which weekend), here’s what you need to know:

Registration for the Hop Hop Half/10k/5k opens this Sunday at 8a, and the first 100 people to sign up will get a super cute charm – perfect for a necklace, bracelet, or keychain. If you visit the race website, you can see how cute it is – I couldn’t snag a good image for you, but it’s a round blue charm with the cute bunny (see above) on it, with a metal clasp by which you add it to your favorite chain or turn it into a wine charm.

The 2018 Hop Hop Half is on Saturday, March 31 in North Portland, with a course that runs along the Columbia River. Foot Traffic races are known for being accurately measured and well-supported, with a lot of fun details to make them memorable without detracting from the race itself.

Registration prices starting on Sunday are $69 for the half marathon, $46 for the 10k, and $36 for the 5k. Registration includes a race shirt and post-run brunch with mimosas. Sounds delicious.

You can thank Run Oregon blogger Geli Heidelberger for the heads up on this one.
