Race Preview: 2017 Rogue River Triathlon (Agness)

You’re not going to want to miss this sprint distance triathlon. Held on Saturday August 5th, in beautiful Agness Oregon and sponsored by the Curry Health Network, this non profit community fundraiser aims to promote wellness while supporting a cause, or two, to be exact. This year all donations will go to the Agness Volunteer Fire Dept. & the Agness Community Library.

The race begins with a half mile swim, downstream, then a 5k run, followed by a 12 mile bike ride. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place each – for men, women & teams. A fun celebration will be held at Cougar Lane Restaurant, following the event. There will be food, refreshments and live music.

Registration is limited to 100 participants. A Donation of $35.00 to $75.00 guarantees each participant a place in the event, as well as a commemorative T-Shirt. In addition, all registrants will be automatically entered in a drawing to win an overnight stay at the world class TU TU’ Tun Lodge.
