Race Preview: 2017 Stoller Vineyards 5K and Kids Mile (Dayton)

It’s easy to find a beer run in Oregon, let’s be honest. But Oregon has more than just good beer – we’re also known for our wonderful wines and on June 3rd the Dayton High School track and basketball teams are hosting a 5K run/walk at Stoller Vineyard Winery in Dayton, OR. The winery is giving participants free wine tasting on race day, as well as 20% off all wines!

The course starts and ends at the winery and is a mixture of pavement, grass, and dirt as you wind your way through the vineyard. The first half of the course is uphill, but as we all know, what goes up must come down. Log some negative splits as you descend back to the finish.

Even though the wine tasting is for those 21+, you can still bring the whole family; there is a Kids Mile event and strollers and dogs are welcome on the 5K course, too!
