Small Race Preview: 2017 Dragon Run (Dallas)

Are you a Star Wars fan that loves to run for a good cause? Check out the Dragon Run in Dallas on April 8th. This 5K and varying distance fun run benefits the Dallas Education Foundation, which goes directly into the schools in Dallas School District. Participants are encouraged to dress up as Star Wars characters for this year’s event.

This computer timed event includes a distance for everyone with a 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, 1 mile, and 1.5 mile fun run in addition to the 5K option. Each distance will have a starting point somewhere between LaCreole Middle School, Whitworth Elementary, and Dallas High School. All of the events will finish on the Dallas High School track. The courses are mostly paved with about 1/2 mile (for some distances) on grass.

Shirts are only guaranteed to those that register by April 1, so register soon to support Dallas Schools and don’t forget that Star Wars costume!
