I know the recent cold snap Oregon has been experiencing has made it a little bit more challenging for a lot of us to get outside and log miles. However, it is essential to keep our workouts on course (pun intended) for upcoming spring races. Why not plan a race halfway to spring?! If you are looking for a fun race to keep you warm during the winter months, why not grab your friend, partner or family member and run the Couple Shuffle Relay & Love Stinks 5K?! 2017 will be the 13th year Southern Oregon Runners run club has put on the race that’s a great course for a PR: a fast and flat out-and-back that starts and ends at Phoenix Elementary School.
Both the relay and 5K will be held at 9am on February 4th. There will also be a free kid’s run held at 8:50am.
