On October 22nd, two different schools will be hosting a race. One with a nostalgic theme and the other with the purpose of helping students take an educational trip.

The Eastern Oregon University Alumni Association is inviting alumni and friends to participate in the EOU Homecoming Run. This race goes through the EOU campus, into downtown LaGrande, and back to the campus for breakfast at Hoke Union Building.

Choose from the 1 mile or 5K run or walk or the 10K run. This fun event is just $10 (any distance) for those who pre-register and the first 100 to register will receive a shirt.

Run the Capitol is a fundraiser for the Salem Academy 8th graders’ trip to Washington D.C. This trip allows the 8th grade students to learn about our nation’s history, by actually seeing where history was made.

This race at Salem’s Minto Brown Park includes a 5K run and a 1 mile fun run/walk. The entry fee for the 5K is $40 and the 1 mil is $25.
