Runners gunna head to th’ Newport Municipal seaport ‘n tackle miles ‘o varied terrain ‘n obstacles. ‘Tis race be put on by th’ City ‘o Newport Parks ‘n Recreation, ‘n proceeds from th’ event be off to help th’ local youth sports scholarship program.
Th’ map shows at least 15 different challenges that be sure to keep participants breathin’ harrrd ‘n smilin’ lots. Expect everythin’ from mud crawls to puddle jumps to rope walls ‘n more. I reckon I even saw some bubbles as well (cause why not mix a wee cleanliness in wit’ ye dirty).
Thar gunna also be a smaller version fer lads that gunna take place after th’ adult heats. Come decked out in costume, as prizes gunna be handed out to th’ best male ‘n female scurvy pirate.

Back for its third running is the Buccaneer Rampage, Newport’s premier adventure and mud-themed race. Runners will head to the Newport Municipal Airport and tackle miles of varied terrain and obstacles. This race is put on by the City of Newport Parks and Recreation, and proceeds from the event go to help the local youth sports scholarship program.
The map shows at least 15 different challenges that are sure to keep participants breathing hard and smiling lots. Expect everything from mud crawls to puddle jumps to rope walls and more. I think I even saw some bubbles as well (cause why not mix a little cleanliness in with your dirty).
There will also be a smaller version for kids that will take place after the adult heats. Come decked out in costume, as prizes will be handed out to the best male and female pirate.
