Small Race Previews: 2016 Light It Up 5K (Ontario) & 2016 Run with LOVE (Oregon City)

Light It Up 5K will light up the streets of Ontario, Oregon on the evening of August 27. This creative night run encourages participants and volunteers alike to "light it up" with their own original glow-in-the-dark and/or LED lit costumes. The 5K starts at the historical Train Depot and runs through the streets of downtown Ontario, around the Treasure Valley Community College Campus and ball field, and makes its way back to the Train Depot for the post-race party.

Light It Up 5K supports the Boys and Girls Club of Western Treasure Valley. The charity for this event changes annually, as participants vote for which charity to support in the following year. In 2015, racers voted for the Boys and Girls Club.

Participants will receive a neon logo tech t-shirt and a surprise glow gift. Medals will be awarded to age division winners and the top male and female racers will receive a trophy.

Stick around after the run for the costume contest and the after-party complete with a DJ, dancing, and plenty of food and drink vendors.
