Kickstarter of the Week: Omversion shorts

Product: Omversion shorts Location: Phoenix, AZ End Date: Friday, July 20th Pledge Goal: $5,225 of $21,220 (Funded) Not all shorts are made the same. As someone who has run in basketball shorts for the majority of his running life, I appreciate shorts - from technical and lightweight versions to longer ones. Today's Kickstarter of the Week are yoga-inspired shorts from Omversion.

First, here is a word from their founder and the passion really in this campaign really comes through:

So, my company is all about living your life and being ok with yourself, and know you will not make everyone happy. I have messed up many times, and still do. Lessons! I have had some very special people in my life and helped me with OM that i thought would be here thru all the good and bad times, some have some haven’t. It has been very difficult as a business owner and friend to lose those I valued as friends. I never plan to do anything that would be upsetting to others, but guess what, I do and i am sorry for that. At the same time I thank you for helping me learn I have to be more upfront sooner and not sugar coat it! Own it! If you have something you want to do…DO IT!

I have heard lots of stories, motivational talks, read books, gone to church…seems the message is the same wherever you go. Love, Trust and Faith…living in the present and doing something you believe in to name a few.

The shorts are definitely longer and may not be the first pair you pull out when trying to achieve a PR. However, they seem like they could be a solid option when you don’t know where your day is gonna lead. Maybe you are starting out your weekend with a little yoga in the vineyards, and then maybe hitting a brewery or two with a run mixed somewhere in there. These would be a nice crossover short where you could be active and comfortable.  The include an “inner short”, essentially an inner piece reminiscent of the brief/boxers that many running shorts have built in.

Length options

The shorts are made from Supima cotton – a naturally breathable and organic cotton that is sourced in the southern United States and sewn in Los Angeles. There are also a ton of great color options and campaign backers get to choose from 3 fabric colors and 8 stitching colors. You can even customize the length you prefer (see above).

Pledge for $68 per pair. A successful campaign should expect a November delivery – just in time for Christmas.
