The inaugural KRVM Radio Run will take place in Eugene on Saturday, April 16, 2016. This race is a benefit for the public radio station KRVM, which is listener supported.

The 5K, which you may run or walk, kicks off at 9 a.m. There will also be a 1K fun run taking place. The 5K event will take participants along the beautiful Alton Baker Park trails, past Autzen Stadium, across the Autzen and DeFazio Footbridges, and finish near the start line.

Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers, and prizes available for the first place male and female finisher in each age group. Random prize drawings will also occur for all participants.

Proceeds from the KRVM Radio Run go to KRVM 91.9 FM radio. I’ll be out there supporting the event, and hope to see you on the course!
