This race is the second in a three race series, put on by Jumpstart as a way to keep people moving throughout the winter. The other races of this series is the Freeze Your Gizzard Blizzard Run/Walk and the St. Patty’s Day run/walk. Jumpstart events has programs throughout the year that include elementary cross country races, track meets, winter trail runs, and a full week basketball camp which runs in June in Dufur, Oregon. The funds raised through the winter trail events, coupled with the sponsorships from Devco Mechanical and Casa El Mirador allow many events to be paid for during the year. Jumpstart Basketball camp is a fundamental camp that focuses on all aspects of skill development taught by seasoned coaches, who themselves are current/former coaches and/or players. These events are free to participate and are open to any K-5 youth. For more information click here.
