You have to be a special sort of crazy to want to run a marathon. Many of our readers, we know, are in that category. So what level of craziness do you reach when you sign up to run 26.2 in Antarctica? We don’t know, but Vibram is giving one “lucky” runner a chance to do just that.

What makes it even more cool is that the race is already sold out – not just for 2015 but for 2016 and 2017, too!

Good luck, Run Oregon readers!

The winners of the Vibram Antarctica Marathon Sweepstakes will join an exclusive field of approximately 200 participants, who will have the opportunity to join the Seven Continent Club™ by competing in a marathon on all seven continents.

Entry to the Vibram Antarctica Marathon Sweepstakes will kick-off Wednesday, January 14  online here. About Author

We started the Run Oregon blog in February 2007, because felt like running in Oregon and SW Washington deserved more positive coverage. We also wanted to level the playing field so that small, non-profit races could compete with big events; and to support local race organizers.
