I’m an active apparel snob. It’s so hard for me to find exactly what I want; something that makes me feel and look good while doing physical activities, but also something that I can wear around town regardless of if I am in the middle of a run or not. Also, I am a conscious supporter of items being made in America, and an environmental lover. That said, when I saw BaliniSports was coming out with performance wear that looks beautiful, and is eco conscious, and made in the USA, I was extremely interested in checking it out in detail.
A snippet from the website talks about BaliniSports’ commitment to consumers, and their attention to detail – two very important pieces I look for, and like to research, in a company:
“Our production is designed and created with BlueSign certified methods and materials. We dye all of the yarn we use for fabric production, prior to knitting, to ensure that our fabrics won’t fade. Our products are made with Lycra to help cool you down, Nylon Spandex for extra softness, and flatlock stitching for strength, flexibility and comfort. We follow the most strict eco-conscious textile production standards because we care. “
For $35, you will receive the Gemini bra; Amie, Marilyn or Tiffany which is available in 5 sizes and four colors. For $55, you will receive a bra-tank; choose an Amie, Marilyn or Tiffany bra and also select a Love, Tulip or Priya tank. For $70 choose the Amanda or Diva legging or the LoveWithin capris. There are additional options averrable, as well. These are expected to be delivered by March 2014.
