On Saturday February 14th, 2015, Hearts With a Mission is putting on a benefit run to help out homeless youth in Jackson County. Hearts With a Mission is the only shelter in Jackson County for youth ages 10-17, and to date has helped 481 youth with 17,101 nights of shelter, educational support, mentoring, and transition planning with a faith based approach.
The event will offer a 10k, 5k, and 1 mile fun run along the Bear Creek Greenway starting at Harry & David field (Medford Rogues home field). Register online here, and packet pickup will be Friday the 13th at City Life (529 Edwards St. Medford) from 10 – 2pm, and race day at the start from 7-8am. Dont miss a great opportunity to help out a program that helps change the lives of the youth in Jackson County. Limited restrooms are available, and no dogs, bicycles, skateboards, rollerskates, and unregistered participants.
