While ORRC members have been enjoying benefits like cheaper race entries to ORRC events, discounts on running gear at select stores, a free 4th of July race, free group runs, and a subscription to the newly redesigned magazine The Oregon Distance Runner; this year they are offering a super cool benefit. FREE runner focused fitness classes! Yes, free! Starting in January, classes are being offered once a month in Beaverton, Portland, and Canby.
Classes are designed with runners in mind and will focus on strength and flexibility, especially in those trouble areas common in runners. Classes are being offered at ADAPT Training in Beaverton, Animal Athletics in Portland, and The Fitness Studio in Canby. Each location is also offering discounts on membership, classes and/or personal training to ORRC members. This is a great opportunity to check on a variety of classes and keep that body functioning at its best so that you can keep running strong for years to come.
