Eugene Marathon 7/27/2014
It’s open! Registration is open for the 2014 Eugene Marathon, Half Marathon, 5k and Kids Duck Dash! Can you feel the excitement already? I sure can! Have you always dreamed of running on the famous Hayward Field track, seeing everyone in the grand stand applauding your epic finish? I do. So — what are you waiting for?!Get registered!
Some of you may have heard that the Eugene Marathon organizers decided for 2014 to change the date of the event from the usual late April, early May time frame to instead happen the end of July. The date for the Eugene Marathon and Half Marathon is Sunday, July 27; the 5k and Kids Duck Dash occurring Saturday, July 26. This change is in response to the IAFF World Junior Championships, which will be taking place in Eugene at Hayward Field July 22-27. I don’t know about you, but this is awesome, as I’ll be grabbing tickets to watch the IAFF World Junior Championships, so why not culminate the experience by running a race myself? That’s the intent, too. For all of us to participate, celebrate, and compete in our own event.

It’s going to be a runners dream scene in Eugene July 22-27, so come on down and enjoy racing in your own event!
