Portable Recovery with NekTeck

It’s taken me a lot of years to embrace the practice of recovery, but as I’ve gotten older, it’s becoming more and more important to make it happen. Since reviewing the Cordless Air Compression Full Leg Boot Massagers made by Nekteck, I’ve been recommending them to everyone. They have become a MUST for after my long runs to help with my sore muscles.

However, I often do destination races and though the compression boots are relatively portable, they won’t fit in my luggage easily. So when Nekteck offered Run Oregon the opportunity to review the AirFlow Go Cordless Air Compression Calf & Leg Massager, I was absolutely on board to try a pair of them.

The AirFlow Go massager is targeted for the lower leg and calf, and it’s made primarily from premium nylon that is adjustable and easily wraps around your calves. It has a soft outer surface and a durable 210D inner lining. The control panels on the massagers offer 5 compression modes and 5 intensity levels for you to choose from. There are 5 air chambers that will deliver coverage for a balanced massage to your calf.

The AirFlowGo is fairly quiet when it’s in massage mode, operating below 45dB. It also has a memory mode, which means that it will revert back to your last setting every time you turn it on. The massage will shut off automatically after 20 minutes, so there’s no need to worry if you forget to turn them off. The sleeves will deflate in a quick 30 seconds, which means you can pack up and go quickly after you’re done with your massage.

The best thing about the AirFlow Go is it’s portability! It comes with a lightweight tote bag and weights just 1.76 lbs. It folds down to just 2mm in size, which makes it so convenient for travel.  You can order one or two massagers, and like the boots, they are cordless as well as rechargeable. The device comes with a charging cable (USB-C) and the 2600mAh battery will deliver up to 3 hours of use once it’s fully charged.

I am so happy that runners are finally getting options like the AirFlow Go! For many years, compression boots and massagers were simply too expensive for an every day runner and now that Nekteck has arrived on the scene, we can all recover the way we deserve to.
