Daybreak Races brings us some of the most stunning races in the Pacific Northwest. Coming up next is the 2026 Perpetua Coast, which offers runners a 50k, a 20 Miler, a Half Marathon, or a 10k.

This event takes place in the beautiful coastal village of Yachats with the Cape Perpetua National Scenic Area providing a gorgeous backdrop. It will be an epic weekend featuring sandy beaches, old growth rainforest, and rocky shoreline bluffs.
The lollipop-loop courses for the 50k and 20 Miler will be on Saturday October 3rd and the point-to-point Half Marathon and 10k will be on Sunday, October 4th.

Participants can come to The Adobe on Friday October 2nd for a shake-out run at 5:30PM and can stick around afterwards for an early packet pick-up option from 6:00 to 7:00PM. Feel free to bring a camp chair and a beverage and hang out.
Saturday, runners can check in as early as 6:45AM inside the Cape Perpetua Conference Room at The Adobe. The 50k takes off at 8:00AM, followed by the 20 Miler at 8:15AM. The 50k course has 5700 feet of elevation gain and loss and there are 4 aid stations in addition to the ones at the start/finish.

Crew and trekking poles will be allowed, and there is a drop bag option. The 20 Miler course has 3800 feet of elevation gain and loss and there will be 2 aid stations in addition to the start/finish line. Crew are welcome for the 20 Miler but there will be no drop bag option for this distance. There is a race cutoff at 5:00PM.
Sunday runners can begin checking in at 7:00AM. Because the half marathon and 10k are point-to-point races, runners will need to allow for extra time to take a shuttle to their race start lines. The shuttle for the half marathon will leave at 8:25AM for a 9:00AM start and the 10k shuttle comes at 8:55AM for a 9:30AM race start.

The half marathon features 2500 feet of elevation gain and 2600 feet of descent. There is one aid station plus the aid available at the Perpetua campground and The Adobe Resort. The 10k, (which will actually be 6.6 miles long,) features 1250 feet of ascent and 1300 feet of descent. There will not be a drop bag option for these races and the finish line cutoff is at 1:30PM.
Aid stations are CUPLESS and will feature Neversecond C30 sports drink, Neversecond C30 energy gels, and the usual trail ultra options such as PB&J sandwiches, cookies, fruit, crackers, candy, and potato chips.

After you finish your race, hang out for a post-race meal and beverage! All participants receive a custom award and there will be some sponsor swag raffled off.
