Flowers for All at the 2026 Canby Dahlia Run

What’s more beautiful than running amongst the dahlias? On Saturday, September 12th, you’ll get your chance for the 2026 Canby Dahlia Run.

This race, now in its 15th year, takes place at the Swan Island Dahlia Farm and features both a 5k and a 10k option. Walk or run and you’ll have the gorgous flower fields, farmlands, and countryside views to entertain you. The course is on mostly paved roads with a short stretch of gravel as well as a small grass segment leading to your finish line.

Runners for both distances will take off at 7:00AM with the walkers will start 5 minutes later. The course officially closes at 11:00AM. There will be CPR/AED and 1^st Aid as well as portable toilets available at the course start/finish and water stations located along each course.

All who register for this race will get a race t-shirt, an entry to the Swan Island Dahlia Festival, and a commemorative medal and a fresh-cut dahlia at the finish line. Awards go to the top 3 in each age group and gender. There will be water and some light snacks at the finish line as well as food available for purchase from the on-site vendors.

This event is organized by the Canby Area Chamber of Commerce  and it’s likely to sell out as it has in previous years, so get yourself registered while you still have the chance!
