The 2026 Ultimook Race Brings Cross Country to Oregon’s Flower Fields

The 2026 Ultimook Race, a Tillamook Cross Country Invitational, is coming up on Saturday September 5th.  This race features an open race 5k and a high school 5k course as well as a 3k for middle school and novice level runners.

The location is a beautiful backdrop for a race, sitting on one of Oregon’s largest flower farms. There’s also a natural mud pit and there will be a river crossing and other unique obstacles on the course.

Farm fresh flowers will be give as awards to the top 10 finishers for each of the high school and middle school races. There will be camping available both Friday and Saturday night (bring your own tents!) and an optional Friday night spaghetti feed. The cost to camp will be $5 a person or $9.90 if you want to include breakfast. Well behaved dogs on leashes are okay for this race too!

Whether you’re chasing a PR, kicking off the cross country season, or just looking for a one-of-a-kind race experience, the Ultimook Race offers a fun day on the trails with plenty of mud, scenery, and Tillamook charm.
