Getting Down and Dirty at the Dirty Half Trail Race

It’s back!! The FootZone Dirty Half Trail Race is celebrating another year in Central Oregon!

This year, the race is being held on Saturday, June 1st at the Unitarian Church in Bend. The race begins at 7:00AM sharp! There will be a packet pick-up option the Thursday and Friday before the race at the FootZone in downtown Bend.

According to Run Oregon’s own Drew Roberts, who has run this race several times, the course is fantastic, with lots of up and down, rolling, switchback, single track trails. Total elevation gain is just over 1,000 feet with nearly as much loss, and with the exception of the first 1/4 mile and the last 1/4 mile, the entire race is on dirt.

There are so many fun things to enjoy from the Dirty Half: a great trail course with mountain views, lots of support, and a solid afterparty complete with food, beer, & PRIZES. Purchase a Custom Race Sprints Hat to support the Deschutes Land Trust.

The cost of the race is $90 and what you’ll get, as mentioned before, is some great swag, and the chance for some awesome raffle prizes from the sponsors. Come out on race day and GET DIRTY!
