Get ready to run on one of the best trail systems in Southern Oregon this spring. Tough as Nails is a 5K and 10 miler on the Roxy Ann Trails. The 10 miler sounds like it lives up to its name with about 1800 feet of elevation gain! 
Tough as Nails is held in Medford’s Prescott Park on a mix of trails and a gravel service road.
New for 2024 are the finisher socks! Something every runner can appreciate and use many times over.
This event is put on by Southern Oregon Runners, a non-profit race group, that will be donating proceeds to a local charity.
The big question this event raises is – Is the course as Tough As Nails or are those who complete it Tough As Nails? I’m thinking both! But, since I haven’t run this race, I’ll defer to the participants to make that call. What’s your take on this one, trail runners?
