Epic Views and Elevation at Silver Falls Trail Challenge

If you haven’t run a race at Silver Falls State Park, I’d recommend you register today for the Silver Falls Trail Challenge. Get ready to lace up for either the Quarter Marathon or the Half Marathon, which will both be amazing.

Run Oregon’s Nikki said about the location:

“My favorite race [in 2019] (and I did A LOT of races, many on very beautiful routes) took place at Silver Falls State Park, and it was 100% due to the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever experienced. I’ve done a lot of trail races in lots of different locations, but the waterfalls I got to experience and the 360 degree stunning views of this park topped them all.”

While I haven’t run this particular course, I agree that this is by far the most scenic location for a trail race. Yes, this race will be challenging – as is evidenced by the elevation chart below – but it is called the Silver Falls Trail CHALLENGE, after all!

This Bivouac Racing event will be on March 10, 2024 starting and ending at the South Falls Day-Use Area of Silver Falls State Park. The Half Marathon will begin at 9:00AM and the Quarter Marathon will be at 9:30AM.

If you choose to do the Quarter Marathon, you’ll be traveling one loop around the Trail of 10 Falls. If you opt for the Half Marathon, you’ll get to experience it all twice and see all the stuff you missed the first time around the loop.

You’ll run around and beneath the gorgeous waterfalls. If you’ve never done that before, it’s something you’ve got to experience for yourself at least once. Or maybe again and again! 😉 It never gets old. When you’re being challenged on the trails, the views will keep you going. So, what are you waiting for? Clear your calendar for March 10.
