They have a varriety of outdoor gear and whether it’s conquering trails or navigating urban landscapes, Outdoor Vitals is a great option for those who refuse to compromise on comfort, style, and the thrill of the outdoors.

We recently reviewed a few leg-covering options – the Satu Adventure Pants and Highline Thermal Leggings.

Satu Adventure Pants

Despite my awareness that New Year’s resolutions might be overrated, they still hold significance for me. This year, rather than focusing on conventional goals like weight loss, running more miles, or finally committing to post-run stretching, I’ve chosen a perhaps more emotionally enriching path. My resolution centers around embracing nature, even in the unpredictable Pacific Northwest weather.

To achieve this, acquiring suitable outdoor gear becomes crucial. While my wardrobe boasts plenty of running apparel, the addition of Outdoor Vitals’ Sanu Adventure Pants marks a meaningful step towards meeting this goal.

Crafted with mechanic stretch fabric, they offer unparalleled comfort and a wide range of motion. They have invisible vents that allow you to regulate temperature, making them ideal for various active settings. I could see these both dominating cooler adventures in the Gorge or navigating the daily grind adventure at work. That’s what sets them apart – their versatility.

They are perfect for a spontaneous half-day at work followed by a trail excursion and a visit to a local brewery. Honestly, the gusseted crotch and lightweight design make them a reliable choice for any adventure, and they pair effortlessly with a collared shirt for a polished look. Surprisingly lightweight at just 13 ounces for a 30×30 size, they outshine similar options in both visuals and weight.

With three color choices and options for both men and women, these pants prove that adventure-ready gear can also be stylish and practical. This is a really solid pair of pants that is gonna be worn for years to come.

Highline Thermal Leggings

When I first pulled my new Highline Thermal Leggings from the box, I was instantly reminded of the tights I had to wear as a child. They were thin and never made it through a fancy party without getting a hole in them. But putting these leggings on, I learned I was happily very wrong.

These leggings are warm, strong, and flexible. They are a perfect under-layer while out on a frosty run or when on a hike. I already have plans for them in my summer camping gear. They are too thin (to me) to wear solo, but the perfect weight (just 4 oz.) to wear under a loose pair of shorts or pants.

I appreciate how Outdoor Vitals described the need for this kind of gear: “[W]e require more out of our gear to live life on our terms”. When the winter weather varies between 7 degrees and 60 in the same month, all the clothing options are needed.

The leggings are made with a combined polyester fleece and jersey knit mesh, to provide a cozy inside without the bulk. They dry super quick, squish into any spot in the drawer, and stretch back out to their original shape.

Highly Recommended!
