Shell-ebrating Style and Comfort in turtlefur Headwear

When a company uses turtles as a way to review things, you know that it has some creative folks on the team. And these two pieces of headwear from turtlefur are definitely receiving five turtles for me this winter.

First up is the Frost Liner Comfort Shell Skull Cap – Turtle Fur®, which works as a regular cap or a linter for when you are wearing a helmet (like those snowboarders shredding down the mountain).

It is very soft and warm. Due to my head size, it felt just a bit tight so I worried about it sliding off while running. It was great for walks and I have a family member who is looking forward to stealing it once I turn my back.

Here’s some details from turtlefur:

“A sleek, form-fitting skull cap, this beanie has a technical performance fabric outer and a fleece liner. Breathable, lightweight, soft, and moisture-wicking, the Frost Liner is a great accessory for when you need a little something extra under your hat or helmet, or you need a more lightweight option for winter runs or days on the xc ski trails.”

At just 2.1 oz, the Frost Liner was easy to tuck into a pocket and I liked how it is cut to cover the ears without pulling far down my forehead.

Next is the Bang Band, a super cozy wrap that covers the ears and adds the perfect warmth when the wind picks up. I was gifted an Icicle color of the wrap, which is not currently available. It is soft, secure on my head, and just cute (especially the turtle patch).

Let’s hear from turtlefur:

“Our Bang Band is contoured to completely cover your ears from all angles. The design frames your forehead with its two layers of midweight Chelonia 150, allowing for trapped heat to build between the two layers of this soft, lightweight fleece, and keeps it there.”

Ans again, lightweight for the carry and soft for the wearing.
