LIVSN Reflex Pants – Where Comfort Meets Flex-ibility

We have worked with LIVSN for a few years now. This clothing company was initially featured back in 2020 and we have checked out their newer items ever since. Today, we are checking out their Reflex Pants – new for Fall 2023.

As the weather takes a brisk turn and the chill sets in, finding the right gear for a morning workout becomes paramount. The Reflex Pants come as a welcome addition to my autumn arsenal – both on the roads and off.

These strike a balance between sleek and functional. They are not too slim and not too relaxed – seriously I was amazed/impressed at just how comfortable they were to wear. That led to positive feedback from my wife – followed by recommendations that these be used for casual settings as well. She felt (and I agreed) that the muted tones and minimalist design offer a versatile look that pairs seamlessly with various tops.  That makes sense as, on a passing glance, these look like a standard pair of green or blue chinos (they come in olive and insignia blue colorways). But they really do provide a lot more behind the scenes.

The stitching is precise, and the fabric feels durable without sacrificing breathability. It’s evident they’re built to withstand the rigors of an active lifestyle. These pants have a certain sturdiness to them that instills confidence. The articulated knees, elastic waistband, and gusseted crotch ensure unrestricted movement, making them a really solid option when using for those cooler runs. Basically, they move with you, rather than against you.

There are four zipped pockets on the legs for securing and storing whatever you need. Speaking of legs – there’s actually a lot going on here. The ankles are tapered to keep them from snagging if wearing while cycling, and the zipped openings are large enough to slide over shoes.

The only drawback, if there is one, is that all inseams are 30″ in length. This will likely be fine for most of us, but if you fall on the shorter or taller height spectrum, it may fit a little different at the bottom as a result.

For us outdoors-loving Pacific Northwesterners, these are a game-changer. Our ever-changing climate demands versatile clothing, and the Reflex Pants deliver. Their water-repellent finish means you won’t be caught off guard by a surprise drizzle, and their light insulation provides just enough warmth for those brisk, misty mornings. They effortlessly blend into the wardrobe of anyone living in this corner of the world – practical, stylish, and ready for whatever the day throws your way.
