September 16 will mark the 5th year of the Oregon Hop Run in Independence. This small town race includes a 10K, 5K, and a 1/2 mile kids dash. The race will start at Riverview Park and run along a multi-use path with views of the Willamette River.

5K runners will complete the loop once, while 10K runners will do 2 loops, with the hop bell being rung on your behalf as you finish your first loop.
After the race, redeem your complimentary malt or non-alcoholic beverage at one of 3 locations. There will also be discounts at some of the local restaurants! And be sure to check out the Hop and Heritage Festival going on in downtown Independence from 12-8 P.M. Bring the whole family and make a day of it in small town America!
