2023 Race Series Preview: Go Beyond Racing

Trail Racing is a huge culture in the Pacific Northwest, and why wouldn’t it be? There is no shortage of epic trails and majestic mountains surrounding us, and we are very fortunate to get to experience it. Go Beyond Racing gets that. This trail racing company is all about getting outside and finding beauty everywhere. Their races appear to be seamlessly organized consistently, so runners new to the trail race scene will be in good hands and experienced trail runners will come back again and again.

I’ve never had a bad experience at a Go Beyond race, and their aid stations are something I look forward to every single time for that boost of energy. Their amazing volunteers cheer hard for every runner as they approach as though they are the most elite of runners. It doesn’t matter how slow they are or how much pain they look to be in. This crew never lets you go hungry either, from their mid-race selection of munchables to the post-race nosh. Most importantly, you won’t get lost in the woods on a Go Beyond course unless you’re just not paying attention to the well labeled trail markings and you’ll likely exit even the hairiest of courses with a smile on your face.

About Author

We started the Run Oregon blog in February 2007, because felt like running in Oregon and SW Washington deserved more positive coverage. We also wanted to level the playing field so that small, non-profit races could compete with big events; and to support local race organizers.
