Strava Segment of the Week: Segments on this weekend’s Resolution Run course in Battle Ground

Coming up this weekend is Whisper Running’s Resolution Run (preview here) in Battle Ground, WA. We have picked a handful of segments from this race in case you decide you want to participate in person or virtually.

The first segment is essentially the first 2.5 miles of the Resolution Run 10k & 15k course:

If you are looking to run a shorter distance, there are a trio of segments along the Resolution Run 5k course, including the actual 5k itself:

It’s fun to note that the 5k course segment has only been run 15 total times, making a shot at top-10 within reach! For what it’s worth, this segment is the final 3 miles of the 15k course as well, so you will get a time if you select either distance.

Remember, you can still register for the Resolution Run by Whisper Running for $50 to participate in person, or select the virtual option and bookmark these segments to run your own race!

Also, if you use Strava (or want to get started – it’s free!) please join the Run Oregon club! We currently have 719 members! It’s a fun way to keep track of your miles and see how others in the area are doing.

Strava is an online training and racing log for runners and cyclists. The basic account is free and requires you to create a login. Note that this is not sponsored by Strava, nor endorsed or supported in any way by Strava. It’s just a fun thing we’re going to do to give some speedy shout-outs to area runners and pose a challenge to those of you willing to take on their segment.
