Races are falling off the schedule again, which is definitely a bummer, but not all of them. Some, like the Sisters Hop Fest Half & 5K, are limiting the amount of people who can register. This method has proven quite successful for smaller events, thereby keeping momentum for next year, all the while giving us runners a race to look forward to!
The Hop Fest races were part of a bigger weekend festival that started in 2019 and enjoyed good turnouts. Event organizers have had to scuttle the festival, but have determined they can safely operate the races. Costs for both events are minimal, and the atmosphere is low key. However, don’t let that deter you, as the course is a fun one that takes you down forest service roads just north of town, then brings you back for a fun finish at Three Creeks brewing and bottling facility.
And hang around town after the race to enjoy the Glory Daze car show while grabbing a treat at Sisters Bakery!
When: Saturday, September 25th. Half starts at 8am. 5K starts at 8:15am
