Small Race Preview: 2020 Cupid’s Arrow Fun Run 5k (Lincoln City)

When we talk about running being good for the heart, we typically mean in a biological sense, but the Cupid’s Arrow Fun Run in Lincoln City strives for a more romantic interpretation. This affordable 5k is an out-and-back partner race, meaning runners can arrive with their companion of choice or fly solo and be paired with a Pace Partner. Casual runners who are lovers not fighters can opt to enjoy the day instead of competing, as participants can run or walk at any pace along West Devil’s Lake Road. The winning duo will receive gift certificates to local restaurants, not to mention bragging rights and an adorable meet-cute story for any Pace Partners who stick together longer than 3.1 miles.

About Kate Ellingsen (36 Articles)
Running brings me immense joy and peace. Like the fabled tortoise, my pace is slow and steady. I ran my first marathon in 2011, then lost my focus following a cross country move in 2012, gradually working my way back to 26.2 miles. I have no aspirations of qualifying for the Olympics or even Boston. The road is big enough for all runners, and my only goal is to be happy and well. Location: Portland, OR 26.2 x 6 & 13.1 x 13
