I know it’s weird, but I am always on the prowl for new underwear. I have reviewed a bunch of pairs over the past few years – from standard cotton pairs to fancy fabrics. There are a lot of comfortable pairs out there and some that grew on me (well, not literally). As someone who is distinctly aware of small-program college athletics, when I stumbled upon these and read their story of how they came to be, I knew they had to be our next Kickstarter of the Week. Here is a description about Traü via their campaign:

I’m proud to share Traü with all of you.  Made from bamboo with just a touch of spandex, I think you’ll find Traü to be the ideal combination of a great fit, all natural materials and durability. And they’re handmade right here in the U.S.A, Oakland, CA. We also have a 100%, no questions asked, money-back guarantee so if you’re not satisfied, let us know and we’ll take care of you. I hope you enjoy them as much as I’ve enjoyed the journey!

My vision with Traü is to not only build the best product to support you in your own personal health journey to living a better life from the inside out, but also to use Traü as a platform to build community and support for all of those seeking support to live better, more healthy lives and bettering the community around them.

It’s clear that Traü doesn’t provide your standard, cheap, uncomfortable underwear – they go all out in creating some amazing. In looking at the qualities in these, they seem to be everything a runner would appreciate.

They look to be a great multi-functional undergarment. For those like me who sometimes runs in shorts with no liners, having comfortable compression shorts or underwear is a must. Additionally, having options for when hitting the gym, hiking, or any other outdoor activity, a good pair is absolutely vital. These look like this could fit that role.

You can pledge for about $28 and receive a pair. They also mention on their website that $1 from every product sold will be donated to Athlete Ally, Athletes Care, and SPORTS For Exceptional Athletes.
