Tuesdays are great when you’re stumped during meal planning, since you can always refer to “Taco Tuesday” as your inspiration for the day’s meal. Eclectic Edge has been inspired by that as well and is organizing the Taco Tuesday Twilight Trot 5k series of races from February to October (but not July). The races start and end at Eclectic Edge’s headquarters in Eugene, the race follows an out and back course that changes every month, the course support consists of marshals and a water station approximately half way through. After the race, there’s a fantastic taco bar, beverages, and trivia.
The next race takes place on August 6th at 6pm, and registration is open for the August race. The following events are scheduled for September 10 and October 1, but those dates might yet change. Registration for each race opens the day after the prior month’s event, at which point the date is firm and will no longer be changed.
