Ask Miles Anything – January Edition: An existential question

Meet Miles!
This cute little guy is the new mascot for Foot Traffic, one of the most well-respected running stores in Portland and SW PDX. Each month we will be doing an AMA with Miles (stay tuned to our Instagram) and posting his responses here!
Q. “To Be or not to Be” [From IG user @adamgoldminer]

A. To be hairy (not clean shaven!). To be in the woods! To bee honey…yum! To be the Big Foot I am – chasing sunbeams on dappled days and high-fiving friends forever. To be the most iconic, lovable mascot in the history of running specialty stores! Also…to NOT be caught. That’s kinda frowned upon in Bigfoot circles.

Q. “How are you liking your new store in Vancouver? We love having you in the neighborhood!” [From IG user @1manrelay]

A. I love my new home and city! I’m really blown away by how tight knit the community is for such a broad city. So many great folks come visit my shop for our free group runs and to check out our rotating selection of new gear. It’s cool in the ‘Couve!

Q. “There are so many races out there! I have looked at the Run Oregon Race Calendar, but how should I learn more about the races and save some money too?”

A. Boy have you come to the right Big Foot! My buddies at Foot Traffic throw a huge race expo and sale event for all thing racing: shop, register and save for your 2019 race season at Foot Traffic’s Event Expo in February. Visit www.foottraffic.us or @foottrafficpnw on Facebook and Instagram to find our more about our Expo, events and races for your 2019 season. Calendars are great, but just like trying on a new pair of shoes, sometimes it’s better to talk to the experts in PERSON and find out more than a listing. We bring them all to you to one place to make it easy!

Thanks Miles! See you next month!
