If you are looking for a little bit more casual Turkey Trot this year, check out the Give Cancer the Bird: 5k Fun Run/Walk in McMinnville on Thanksgiving morning. The event is put on by McMinnville Relay for Life and is FREE (though making a donation of $25 for the tee-shirt would be highly recommended. You can also bring your pups for $5. The race will take place at the Evergreen Nature Trail, which is just north of the Evergreen Air and Space Museum. The trail is mostly paved and will meander through some tall trees, as well as the Evergreen Vineyard.
