Small Race Preview: 2018 Barlow Zombie 5k (Gresham)

Halloween will be here before we know it, so you know what that means .. Zombie runs! The 2018 Barlow Zombie 5k is in Gresham on the evening of October 20th, and it’s going to be a fun one.

This race is a trail race through open fields and forest around Barlow High School’s cross country course. This will not be a chip-timed event, though there will be a clock, and participants are encouraged to dress up in costumes. Zombies will be out there hiding in wait, and though they won’t actually chase you, they will be reaching for your flags when you get near them.

The cost of this race is only $25 for participants 18 and older and $15 for youth. You can register the day of the event also, but it will be via paper form and only cash and check will be available payment options that day. All runners will receive a very cool medal for participating and there will also be a costume contest. 100% of the profits from the race will go to the Barlow Water Polo team, otherwise known as your zombie hoard for the day.

Parking is located in the Barlow High School Annex off of SE 302nd Ave. Come out to get in the spirit of Hallloween!!
